She's back, and deadlier than ever! Mizuno Miki (My Lover is a Sniper) stars as Female Convict #701 Matsushima Nami in Sasori, a remake of the 70s Toei cult classic Female Prisoner Scorpion series based on the adult manga Joshuu 701 Go Sasori. Best known for romantic comedies like Feel 100% and Love Undercover, Hong Kong director Joe Ma sets his stylish Pan-Asian remake in Hong Kong, with an interesting cast of Japanese, Taiwan, and Hong Kong stars. Taiwan heartthrob Dylan Kuo (Shamo) plays Mizuno's romantic interest, and Johnny To regulars Lam Suet and Simon Yam drop in for supporting appearances along with Sam Lee, Emme Wong, Bruce Liang, Ishibashi Ryo, and Natsume Nana.
Forced to kill her sister-in-law to save her husband Hei Tai (Dylan Kuo), Matsushima Nami (Mizuno Miki) lands in prison where she shows her inmates who's in charge in sprawling brawls. Left for dead by the cruel prison warden (Lam Suet), Nami is rescued by the mysterious Corpse Collector (Simon Yam), and attains superhuman martial arts skills. She then embarks on a blazing path of revenge against the assassins who destroyed her life.
